Kini SafeAlert: Wi-Fi Tamper Alert Device with Real-Time SMS, Email & Push Notifications

Kini SafeAlert is a compact Wi-Fi tamper alert device that notifies your phone the moment something you care about is opened, moved, or accessed. Know right away when someone opens a drawer, medicine cabinet, liquor cabinet, jewelry box, or gun safe. No cameras. No GPS. No subscription.

Named one of the best privacy alternatives to security cameras by WIRED.

What people use Kini for

• Gun safes and lockboxes: get an alert the moment the door opens. Kini works alongside your safe as an early warning.
• Medicine cabinets and prescription drawers: know if someone is getting into medications.
• Liquor cabinets and anything off-limits to kids or teens.
• Jewelry boxes, desk drawers, passports, and valuables.
• Checking on an aging parent without cameras: an alert when a door, cabinet, or pill drawer is used lets you know they're up and moving.
• Tool bags, bikes, gates, sheds, and garages within Wi-Fi range.
• Travel and vehicles: hotel room doors, luggage, in-room safes, glove boxes, and center consoles, paired with a mobile hotspot like the Solis Hero.

How it works

Place Kini inside or attach it to the item you want to protect. Kini detects movement of the object itself, not motion in the room, so people walking by won't set it off. When it's disturbed, you get an alert in about 5 seconds with the free Kini app. SMS and email alerts may take a few seconds longer.

Key features

• Instant push, SMS, and email alerts
• Critical alerts that break through Do Not Disturb (app)
• Custom alert sounds for each Kini, so you know which one was moved without looking

• Up to 18 months per charge, USB-C rechargeable, with a low-battery reminder
• No subscription or monthly fees, ever
• Adjustable sensitivity, axis control, and quiet hours
• Discreet or deterrent: Gun Metal Gray blends into the background for unobtrusive monitoring, while Candy Apple Red stands out as a visible deterrent
• Stasis Mode: alerts you when something hasn't moved in a set amount of time
• Multi-Homing: remembers multiple Wi-Fi networks and switches automatically
• Car Mode: quiets repeat alerts while moving, so road trips don't trigger constant notifications
